Meet Jay and Valerie Branson.
 
Jay had been a home builder in the area around Guthrie and Perry Oklahoma basically since Jay graduated from high school.  So Jay understood craftsmanship and the trades very well.  Even when Jay was building homes, one of his strengths was his creativity and attention to detail.  This was something that Jay had since he was in grade school, when the boys used to make fun of him for doing such great artwork.  Jay was also a consummate hunter and trapper growing up, although the motivation at that time was to generate gas money.  
 
A number of his friends refer to Jay as a renaissance man since he has such a broad background and interest – ranging from being an artist to being an outdoorsman.

Valerie comes from small town Pawnee, where she was a mother of three and a homemaker. She has experience in interior design, sewing, and cooking, in addition to 18 years of office experience and six years baking in restaurants. She and have been together over eight years; they have been “under construction” that entire time!
